About me
I am a rising second-year student at Notre Dame Law School and a proud alumna of the College of the Holy Cross. I'm interested in legal issues presented by the internet and emerging digital technologies, especially those related to intellectual property and privacy. As an undergraduate Classics major I had the opportunity to research fifth-century B.C.E. Athenian inscriptions, creating my own digital edition of the documents and eventually presenting my research at the University of Leipzig's Digital Humanities Institute. That experience lead me to learn more about the world of open-source software and Creative Commons licenses, two interests I am continuing to explore this summer. I plan to pursue a career as an attorney in the tech space. Outside of work you'll probably find me checking out a new museum or asian fusion food truck.
My work
I assist the attorneys on a variety of issues relating to access to knowledge, intellectual property, privacy, and free speech on the internet. I love that at Wikimedia I get to be involved in work that is at the cutting edge of cyberlaw and affects millions of users every day.
