It may not be circumvented, eroded, or ignored by Wikimedia Foundation officers or staff nor local policies of any Wikimedia project. Resolved that the Board of Trustees approves the updated Trademark Policy, as presented by the Wikimedia Foundation's General Counsel. This policy was created after a thorough and wide-ranging consultation with the Wikimedia community to encourage expansive use of the Wikimedia marks while maintaining legal protection of those marks as appropriate.
