Committee talk:Audit Committee/Charter/2010

The Board of Trustees approved an updated Audit Committee charter at our November meeting. There's a lot of general and long-needed cleanup. The most notable change is removing the requirement that a majority of Audit Committee members be Trustees. This is important at those times when there is a) limited financial experience on the Board of Trustees and b) lots of interest among community members in serving on the Audit Committee. The 2009-2010 Audit Committee, which includes a few community members but only one Trustee, was established in anticipation of this change.Stu 00:57, 15 November 2009 (UTC)
