Dear Sirs I write to you on behalf of Alamy Limited ("Alamy") who has taken over the business operations of PA Images. It has come to our attention that images copied onto your servers without permission. The original images, for which PA Images was the authorized representatives of the copyright holder, can be found at: https://www.paimages.co.uk/image-details/2.1805623 https://www.paimages.co.uk/image-details/2.25519028 The unauthorized and infringing copies can be found at: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Emmeline_Pankhurst_and_other_suffragette_leaders_1908.jpg https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:England-rugby.jpg This is official notification under Section 512(c) of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, Article 14 of the E-Commerce Directive (2000/31/EC) and any other applicable laws in your jurisdiction. On behalf of the copyright holder, we seek the removal of the aforementioned infringing material from your servers. We request that you immediately notify the original infringer of this notice and inform them of their duty to remove the infringing material immediately, and notify them to cease any further posting of infringing material to your server in the future. Please also be advised that the law requires you, as a service provider, to remove or disable access to the infringing materials upon receiving this notice. Under US and other applicable laws, a service provider, such as yourself, enjoys immunity from a copyright lawsuit provided that you act with deliberate speed to investigate and rectify ongoing copyright infringement. If service providers do not investigate and remove or disable the infringing material this immunity is lost. Therefore, in order for you to remain immune from a copyright infringement action you will need to investigate and ultimately remove or otherwise disable the infringing material from your servers with all due speed should the direct infringer, your client, not comply immediately. We are providing this notice in good faith and with the reasonable belief that the rights Alamy is authorized to represent are being infringed. Under penalty of perjury we certify that the information contained in the notification is both true and accurate, and we have the requisite authority to act on behalf of the owner of the copyright(s) involved. Please provide confirmation within Ten (10) days of the date of this letter that the infringing material has been removed or that access to the same has been disabled. If this confirmation is not received, we reserve all our rights in relation to this matter, including our right to issue proceedings against you (which may be issued and served without further notice to you) seeking relief for infringement of copyright.
